This is America… in the summer … at the shore … but watch out for the tram car, please.
Wildwood is the place where everyone keeps coming back each year for the fun or just for the family reunion. Morey’s Piers is the place that can give you everything you need to have a good time and forget your daily doings. From the morning to the late night the amusement parks of Morey’s are waiting for you, nevermind the age … little kids or grownups there are attractions for YOU. Actually, there are rides for everyone.
Morey’s Piers is located on the Wildwood’s boardwalk and I am sure that you’re not gonna miss it while walking there. The Giant Wheel, the different rides can be seen everywhere. The three piers welcomed us colorful, noisy and crowded. It’s summertime so that’s pretty normal. If you want to escape this you can come after Labor day when most of the people consider summer to be finished but the park remains open. We did both – before Labor day and after it, so we saw the differences.
The amusement park is huge. The Adventure Pier, The Marines with the Raging Waters water park and The Surfside Pier with the water park Ocean Oasis are side by side and they offer extreme experiences – swimming pools, water slides, roller coasters, restaurants, etc. With some of the attractions (the Giant Wheel, for example), we enjoyed New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean from above. At sunset, the view is spectacular and it was worthed even more.
Adventure Pier
We went to the Adventure Pier not for the food or for the pools, we can’t find all that there but for the craziest and the biggest rides at Morey’s Piers. I recommend to visit it in the evening because it is not so hot, the air is fresh and there are no lines. Right time for the ride.
Mariners // Raging Waters
Definitely, my favorite pier is Mariners and its water park Raging Waters always leaves me speechless. We’ve spent most of the time here because of the long list of fun activities. I would recommend you to start your day at one of the Water Parks (choose between the Ocean Oasis and Raging Waters, depends on your choice), have lunch at one of the great restaurants Morey’s Piers has to offer (they have super delicious and healthy meals and even great cocktails) and continue with the rides in the afternoon, ending your day walking on the boardwalk or taking walk at the beach. Time flies there, for both children and adults, so plan wisely.
Surfside Pier // Ocean Oasis
This pier among the other two stayed a little bit unknown to me. But anyway, I can frankly say that the rides here are the greatest possible. You will be turned upside down and you will face your fears if you have ones. It super fun and super safe. Yes, talking about amusement parks is good to know that they have your back, right? Safety first, guys! Only in that way, we can relax and have real fun.
Summer at the East Coast sounds promising, don’t you think? Jersey Shore still attracts many tourists and it can be considered for your family vacation as well. Maybe it’s not a good time to give you new ideas on how to spend your summer… Because I am sure that most of you have already planned it. But it’s a “been there, done that” situation and I can not miss sharing this amazing experience.
Where to stay in Wildwood, NJ?
We can recommend staying at the Pan-American Hotel. The hotel is part of the Morey’s Piers brand and they are offering great hospitality and deals for the guests.
Where to eat at Morey’s Piers?
The restaurants at Morey’s Piers are real institutions. Joe’s Fish Co. (Surfside Pier), Jumbos Grub & Pub (Mariners Pier), and you can also enjoy Breakfast in the Sky (Mariners).

That looks like a lot fun for the whole family. It doesn’t hurt that is a really beautiful view of the ocean.
I lived too close to Wildwood growing up, and I never went. I wish I had made the time after reading your post. It looks so fun!
This sounds like a great place for families with school-age children or teenagers.
Oh my goodness, it’s been years since I went to a water park. I almost forgot how much fun they are. There are a lot of fun amusement parks in New Jersey, it would be so fun to vacation there!
Great place to have fun!
