It’s always such a delight whenever I come across other people that share the same passions I have. I recently got the chance to chat with the guys from Insidr and just loved their conception of traveling. I found their cool tips for traveling around Europe very useful! Because of that, I made a small selection of the best tips and tricks I found on their website that I think would be useful to you guys as well.
Nowadays, it’s so easy to get lost in all the information available online, even for seasoned travelers. At Insidr I came across some great local tips for different European cities that are totally worth reading! You should definitely check out their content and get in touch with them when you travel across Europe!
Paris
Ahh, Paris! The city is much more than the cliches as the city of lights, history, and romance! As a french speaking person, I am so into French culture and the French way of living life. Paris is such a beautiful place especially when you’re lucky enough to see it from a different perspective for example from the Parisian rooftop! You already know what we collect during our om trips but I also found Insidr notes on where to buy typically French gifts and where to find beauty, skincare, and cosmetics products to be really helpful! They even have a list of the most loved French beauty products on their site!
And of course, FOOD! You can check their articles on delicious street food in Paris and what to eat besides the delicious croissant along with a solid selection of Parisian coffee shops. And if you’re into French wine, they’ve got that covered, too by introducing places to go for wine tasting in Paris.
France has a special place in my heart. The country is even more beautiful beyond the capital. And I’m not just talking about taking a day trip to Versailles. With a perfect mix of nature, heritage, culinary delights, and culture, I would recommend you to experience what the other towns have to offer. I think the articles at Insidr are the perfect guide to these hidden treasures!
For those who are into history, you cannot miss the D-Day Beaches as well as the Mont Saint Michel area in the Northern part of the country. And while you’re in the area, don’t forget to hit some of France’s quaint and charming towns like Dinan, Cancale, Bayeux, Etretat, Honfleur, Deauville and Saint-Malo. And don’t leave Paris before visiting Giverny to marvel at Monet’s house and garden.
Venice
Insidr recently released their top recommendations and tips on Venice, the gem of Northern Italy. I personally think one should dedicate at least 2 days or 3 days in the city to really experience Venice, even tho, my first experience there wasn’t so pleasant. Don’t forget to save some time to visit the region beyond the main city. And for you foodies out there, Insidr summed up their favorite spots for gelato, as well as the best cocktail & speakeasy bars!
London
If you haven’t been to London, the only thing I can tell you is to go! And If you’ve already been before – go again! I feel this city as my real soul mate after traveling to the British capital many times so far. Sometimes I even consider moving there. The Insidr articles I read about London show the infinite list of things to do there! I love how they prepared guides and recommendations on London’s different neighborhoods like Westminster, Camden, Shoreditch, Notting Hill, London Bridge, Covent Garden, and Greenwich.
They didn’t leave the important practical stuff out either! You’ll save a ton of money on Uber or taxi rides after reading their guide to public transportation in the city and how to get to and from the local airports.
Do not miss to check all the services Insidr has to offer. They will help you a lot during your travels around Europe no matter where you decide to go.
